2023 Summer Concert Schedule is HERE!
Once again, Buena Vista Township will be bringing live entertainment to the stage on Wednesday nights throughout the summer with eight (8) FREE concerts for your dancing and listening pleasure. That’s right, you read that correctly! Eight FREE concerts! Grab your dancing shoes and come out to Michael Debbi Park in Richland each Wednesday night. Concerts will be held, weather permitting, beginning June 21st and running through August 9th, with 2 rain dates scheduled for August 16th and 23rd. Seating is available or feel free to bring your own lawn chair. Bring your appetite, too! The Concession Stand, hosted by the Special Events Committee, will be open at 6 pm selling hamburgers & hot dogs, fresh popped popcorn & snacks, ice cream sandwiches & root beer floats, and hot & cold beverages. June 21 @ 7 pm: DJ Nicky G (Rescheduled to August 16th)
Nicky G has been on the air in South Jersey and Philly since 1976. He is also a popular Mobile DJ, hosting weddings throughout the Delaware Valley and South Jersey region. He started spinning records at age 15, at local high school dances and broke into the radio business at age 16. He has been on 98.1 WOGL: 95.1 WAYV, 100.7 WZXL, Shark 103.7 WMGM, Boss 97.3 WBSS and currently found at WNGEradio.com.
June 28 @ 7 pm: Duck & Cover Band
Duck and Cover Band is a dynamic 5 piece classic rock band, playing hits from the 60’s to today. Whether you like to dance, tap your toes at your seat, or sing along, you will enjoy the songs that have pleased audiences from the beaches of NJ to the Delaware River.
July 5 @ 7 pm: The Real Feel Band
Hailing from the City of Brotherly Love, The Real Feel Band is an impressive lineup of four lifelong musicians who generate an amazing sound which resonates from coast to coast. They released their debut record in February 2010, Feel This…, which established their effectiveness in fusing rock, funk, soul, and reggae.
July 12 @ 7 pm: Group Therapy
Group Therapy (Formerly known as “Tear It Up”) is a cover band located in Southern NJ that have been tweaking for over 20 years and now have finally found the right mix. Their repertoire includes classic rock, county, alternative rock, and pop.
July 19 @ 7 pm: Poor Mouth Henry
This 4 piece band’s appeal is so broad that they can play anywhere from major nightclubs, corporate events, county fairs to local summer concerts. No event is too small or big for these 4 talented musicians. Join them on their musical journey as they perform such artists as:
Jethro Tull, Grand Funk Rail Road, The Beatles, Eagles, Joe Cocker, Brooks & Dunn and so much more!
July 26 @ 7 pm: Kevin Grace – The 1950’s Experience
A one man show, but if you closed your eyes you’d never guess it! He will take us through the 1950’s Doo Wop era in style. Complete with attire and guitars representing the 50’s. This is the night for Poodle Skirts and Loafers my friends!!! Don’t miss this amazing experience!!
August 2 @ 7 pm: Musically Yours
The Musically Yours Quintet is comprised of guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, and our female vocalist. Their repertoire spans Jazz classics from the Great American Songbook, along with varied Country, Pop, and Rock repertoire from the 60’s through current artists and styles, as well as holiday and patriotic repertoire. The Quintet performs regularly in the South Jersey area for concert, social, and wedding events.
August 9 @ 7 pm: Bittersweet Duo
Beautiful music, soulful duets, top notch entertainers! These two talented people are an awesome pair and you will enjoy each and every song. They have spent years perfecting their sound and it shows! Don’t miss them!
